Mother of The Bride

Sun Mar 2, 2008, 12:25 PM
Very soon my eldest daughter is getting married.
I am very pleased to say I am looking forward to having a pleasant time.
The bridesmaids are all in pounamu green, the bride is in ivory and the little flower girl in ivory too.
It should look spectacular.
I am to give a speech at the wedding and that should be fine.
Most of all I want to see the happiness on my daughter's face.
Her name is Emma rose. She is having four bridesmaids, which is lovely.
TJ her fiancee is half maori and half pakeha, a talented man, musician and artist.
He is as ever quiet and enduring, an internal type of personality.

Thank you for the comment; because of it I have found very intriguing material in your poetry, and a new someone to watch.

someone plunged a dagger deep into God's chest
when he groaned it laid our entire civilation to rest
and when he pulled out the dagger and marvelled at the pain he could create
we stuck another in his back to seal the creation's fate

I am just passing through, but I scanned a couple of your poems and it looks like the tight, thoughtful poetry that I appreciate. So I'm going to watch you and be back. Hope that's ok. :-)

What I realized is that oil paint is very very forgiving
you say you are just a watcher
I have one thing to tell you
for for it
grab a brush, or something that makes a mark and go for it
That is how everyone starts
do it you know you want to
